How to
Order
We have made the ordering process as simple and
practicable as possible with a number of options for placing your order.
You can order online, by phone, fax, email or post. Payment can be online using
credit card, or you can post a cheque or money order, or direct deposit the
funds into our account, or use PayPal. Once payment is cleared your order
will be posted out to you.
Browse through our product range, click on the
Category list on the left of the screen and click through to the products that
look interesting to you.

When you find products you would like to order click on
the Add To Cart button for the product.
When you
go to the Shopping Cart you will see a sub-total of items in your shopping
cart. You can either continue shopping by going back to the
Catalogue and select further items, or you can Checkout.
When
you've finished adding items to your Shopping Cart, click on the
Proceed to Checkout button on the Shopping Cart page. You
will then be taken to our Secure Checkout page.
The website will
then lead you securely though the process of providing
delivery and payment details.

and include GST.
If paying by credit card, it will be charged when your
order is ready for shipment unless otherwise arranged.
If you don't
feel comfortable using your credit card online we also offer other options for

NOTE:
Due to the high incidence of attempted fraud we do not accept credit
card orders from Indonesia, Russia, Romania, Thialand, Philippines, Singapore,
Malaysia, Nigeria, Hungry, Mexico, Austria, Pakistan, Middle East.
Customers from these countries may pay by Bank Money Orders.
Delivery Information
Your order will be
shipped within 1-2 days of confirmation of your credit card payment or other
form of payment. Delivery time depends on location and stock
availability.
Delivery Time
Estimated delivery time
for Australian orders is 3-10 working days, but we cannot be responsible for
delays in the postal service. We will always endeavour to have your items in
stock but from time to time we may receive an order for a backordered
item. In this case we will endeavour to get your order to you ASAP.
You will be notified if there will be an extended delay. Occasionally some
items may become unavailable or sold out in which case we will notify you
immediately.
For deliveries outside Australia delivery time varies
depending on the destination.
Carrier
We generally
use Australia Post for delivery of goods, however we may elect to utilise an
alternative carrier without prior notice. If you don’t receive your goods
within a reasonable time please contact us on (02) 6282 2331 or email us at
info@tapsdancewear.com
Postage and
Handling
Australian orders are normally sent by Regular Post. Allow a minimum of 2-3 days for delivery. You
can also elect to have the item sent Express Post. Overseas orders are sent by
air mail. Express Post delivers within Australia to most destinations will
be received 1-2 days after leaving the shop.
Shipping charges are based
on the current Australia Post fees and charges.
Estimated cost
for postage within Australia for items under 500g in weight:
Regular
Post: $5.00 up to 500g
Express
Post : $7.50 up to 500g
The cost of
postage over 500g is dependent on location.
For Regular Post there is a
basic charge of between $6.50 and $8.50 plus a distance charge per
kg.
For Express Post there is a basic charge of $10 plus a distance
charge per kg.
Estimated cost for international
postage:
Ordinary Air Mail $16.00 up to 500g (1lb)
Ordinary Air Mail $27.00 from 500g (1lb) to 1Kg
(2lb)
International parcels are subject to extra charges as per the Australia
Post International Parcel price chart once they exceed 1kg (2lb).
Returns
TAPS Dancewear is happy to
exchange wherever possible and will give a full refund if we cannot satisfy the
customer. When goods are returned for the wrong size ordered however, we expect
the customer to pay the postage both ways. There are no refunds on
tights.
When returning merchandise:
- We must be notified at the time you receive the merchandise (within 2
days).

- The item must be returned within 10 days. Include a note with the
invoice, your name, address, contact details and instructions as to what you
would like done (replace or refund).

- No refunds after two weeks.
.
- Shoes can be exchanged for another size at no extra cost. Shoe boxes
must not be damaged.

- No refunds on special orders. If in stock it can be exchanged for
another size also in stock.

- Shipping costs are not refundable. If there is an exchange the
customer pays for shipping both ways.

- We are not responsible for lost or stolen returns. We strongly
suggest insuring your return item or ship via a carrier with tracking
capability.

Pricing
Prices are subject
to change without notice. All prices are displayed in Australian dollars and
include 10% GST.
There may be occasions when products become unavailable
or are discontinued. These situations are beyond our control and we take no
responsibility for situations that arise due to this.
Product
Descriptions
TAPS Dancewear attempts to be as accurate as possible
with product descriptions. However, we do not guarantee that product
descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable,
current, or error-free. If a product offered by us is not as described, your
sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.
Goods Damaged in
Transit
If your goods are damaged in transit we will send you a no
charge replacement, freight free. You will need to return the damaged
product to TAPS Dancewear for assessment.
Risk of
Loss
All items purchased from TAPS Dancewear are made pursuant to a
delivery contract. This means that the risk of loss and ownership of the items
pass to you upon our delivery to the customer.
Electronic
Communications
When you visit TAPS Dancewear or send e-mails to us,
you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive
communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or
by posting notices on this site.
Your Member
Account
While using the TAPS Dancewear site you are responsible for
maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting
access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all
activities that occur under your member account. TAPS Dancewear reserves the
right to refuse service, cancel orders, terminate accounts, and remove or edit
content.

Your privacy is important to us. We want you to be aware of any
information we collect and how we use it. This privacy statement is a reference
point for all customers who wish to know how their information is used.
TAPS Dancewear is committed to the Australian privacy legislation in the way it
collects, uses, secures and discloses personal

Information we collect
TAPS Dancewear
respects your right to personal privacy. We lawfully collect and use personal
information on the TAPS Dancewear website that is necessary for our business to
function.
The information we collect on this website through online forms and emails is
never shared with other organisations for commercial purposes, unless otherwise
stated. We require information from you on our secure checkout form. You must
provide contact information such as your name, address and contact
details. When you email us we will record your email address.
We also collect non-personal information such as your computers IP address
through the use of site cookies, which are used by the website's shopping cart
function and also for our own records of website traffic. None of your personal
IP information is disclosed to third parties.
How we use your

TAPS Dancewear uses the information we collect for the
purpose disclosed at the time of collection. We will not use your personal

We only use your personal information to establish and maintain your
relationship as a customer, provide products you have requested and answer your
queries.
We may sometimes send you newsletters on specials and new products. If we
contact you in this way without obtaining your consent, we will provide you with
the opportunity to decline any further marketing communications. If at any
time you receive communication from TAPS Dancewear which you would not like to
receive, please contact us and we will remove your name from our mailing
list.
Feedback submitted wilfully by you, the website user, through online forms or
via email may be posted publicly on the website or email newsletter at the
administrator's discretion. By submitting information via the online feedback
form you are agreeing to this condition.
Security
To
prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use
of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and
managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect
online.
TAPS Dancewear cannot take responsibility for the security of information you
send to, or receive from us over the internet or for any unauthorised access or
use of that information.
