TAPS Dancewear has a comprehensive selection of dance wear and athletic wear for both females and males in a variety of brand names. TAPS is committed to providing the best possible service to its customers.

TAPS Dancewear was originally founded to cater for the needs of dancers in the Canberra region.  The business has gradually expanded over the years and the shop and dance studio complement each other.

The business is currently owned by Terry O'Connor who has further expanded the business to provide an even greater selection of performance supplies.  An online store has been established to provide easy shopping for local, national and international customers. 

Terry has had a variety of experience in both the private and public sector.  She is also a qualified Fitness Instructor.

Terry has been involved in the dance industry most of her life and has taught various dance styles.  She is qualified to teach and adjudicate Irish dancing and she is registered with the Irish Dance Commission in Dublin (An Coimisium)  In April 2007 Terry was invited to judge at the world championships for Irish Dancing at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow Scotland.

Terry's sister, Caroline O'Connor, is a professional performer splitting her time between London's West End, Broadway New York, Sydney and Melbourne.
